Fall Meeting

The fall meeting of the Kansas Society of Mayflower Descendants was held at the Holiday Inn in Topeka -West, Kansas on Sunday - November 16, 2008.

Reception & Social Time - 45 members had registered by the time of the meal. The estate of "Dottie" deZerega had donated her collection of Mayflower book to the society. These were made availble for a donation to the Schollarship fund.

The meal was very good and did contain Cranberry sauce this year.

A short business meeting was held with reports of the on going actions of the society recieved. Membership (348), Lost 3 to death and have 6 new who have had their applications approved.

Carol and Ernie reported on General Congress and Eugeneia Parrott shared her view as a delegate.

Officers of Board the Board of Assistants for 2008-2011 were elected and installed.

We continue to ask for donations to the Scholarship Fund and look forward to reaching or $15,000 goal and being able to award a scholarship.
